Community help police recover stolen ATV

Roma Police are incredibly grateful for the community’s assistance in locating a stolen all-terrain vehicle, also known as an ATV, that was allegedly taken from a property in Roma between 25 and 28 January.

Following several phone calls from the public, police were able to find the ATV hidden in the bush on the side of the Carnarvon Highway at Green Swamp, about 40km from Roma.

The ATV was returned to its rightful owner.

Another ATV quad bike has allegedly been stolen from a different address in Roma during the same period and remains missing. The trailer registration is DN00047 and a 2016 blue Yamaha Kodiak 700.

Police urge anyone with information about the whereabouts of the quad bike or the alleged offenders to contact Roma Police Station on (07) 4622 9333 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
