Queensland Fire and Emergency Services were called to a structure fire of an abandoned Church on Arthur Street at 1.10am this morning, Thursday 27 July.
No one was reported to be onsite at the time.
The church was reported to be used for storage at the time.
Three ambulance crews came to the scene, with firefighters finishing putting out the fire and leaving at 4.40am this morning.
Due to the collapsed building, primary and secondary investigations were unable to happen overnight.
Police will be on scene today, conducting investigations, trying to work out the cause of the fire and whether it is suspicious.
