At 9.29pm last night, 27 July, Queensland Fire and Emergency Services, paramedics and police were called to a house fire on Grey Street, St George.
QFES Firefighters reported the fire was contained to the rear of the house, getting the fire under control before 10pm last night, 27 July.
Police reported flames were coming out of the windows, and allege the house was empty and for sale. They declared a crime scene that night.
Further crews attended at 8.40am the next morning, leaving it in the hands of the Queensland Police Service.
What caused the fire at this stage is unknown, Police will be conducting further investigations today.
